Data Deletion

Aurora Hunter respects your privacy and uses a completely anonymous system (no email or password required).

For this reason, the only way to permanently delete your anonymous identifier and your data from our servers is to do it directly from the app.

  • 1Open the Aurora Hunter app on your phone.
  • 2Tap the gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner.
  • 3Scroll down and tap the red "Delete Data" button.
  • 4Confirm the operation.
⚠️ What deletion entails:
  • Your anonymous ID and preferences will be instantly deleted from our servers.
  • Your map reports will be fully anonymised and unlinked from your device.
  • This action is irreversible. You will not be able to recover your badges or history.
